Installing Gas Central Heating Systems to domestic properties is the very core of our business activity. We install many heating systems for our clients each year and have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in this field. We install Gas central heating systems, which can be adapted to suit our clients needs and designed to meet particular specifications for a variety of property types. All our heating installations and other gas work is registered with Gas Safe and is fully guaranteed. Whether we are upgrading an existing or installing completely from new, you can be assured of a first class job. We understand the inconvenience of having no heating and/or no hot water so we strive to complete the job as soon as possible. Our qualified Electrician (who we have been working with for around 10 years), will complete the electrical wiring needs associated with the heating system at the same time we are working on the installation. After all our works are completed, we will both carry out all necessary testing and commissioning as required by law. All paperwork will be completed including Benchmark Log Books and notifications to Gas Safe who in turn notify Building Control. The Boiler manufacturer will too be notified and you will receive the relevant certification for your warranty. (we are Worcester Bosch accredited installers which means we can offer you a longer warranty than others. Our reputation is important to us, so keeping our customers satisfied and pleased they used GB Plumbing & Heating is paramount.
We install gas fired central heating systems including: • Boiler Upgrades/Replacements • Cookers and Hobs • Landlord Gas Safety Certification (CP12) • Gas Pipework – new and replacement • Boiler Servicing
We undertake all aspects of plumbing, from new installations to repairs. • Burst pipes • Replacing old with new up to date pipework • Small plumbing work including Tap replacements etc. • Quality Bathroom Installations • Plumbing problem solving
A great alternative to the traditional radiator circuit system. We install both electric and wet (piped) systems. One recent installation used just over 800 metres of pipe - so no job is too big! Underfloor Heating offers tremendous benefits including: • No radiators taking up valuable furniture space • Heats pipework at a lower temperature, using less kilowattage therefore cheaper to run than radiators • Saves between 15% - 50% on heating bills • Virtually no maintenance costs • Creates an ambient overall room warmth as opposed to the ‘zone warmth’ radiators can give • Great for high ceiling/vaulted rooms where heat from the radiators will be lost overhead • Can now be used for almost any floor covering including Laminate, Carpet, Lino and Hardwood
We offer the full bathroom installation from ‘Walls’ if needed, to full Plumbing, Suite installation, Tiling and to a high standard of finishing. We have numerous installations under our belt and proudly have a 100% customer satisfaction record.
We are qualified Unvented System Installers (G3). On completion of an Unvented System installation, it is law that Building Control is notified. As with Boiler installations, we do all this and provide all documentation required. We install both electric and wet (piped) systems. One recent installation used just over 800 metres of pipe - so no job is too big! Why have an Unvented System installed? Unvented systems are the best solution for offering an excellent supply of pressurised hot water particularly for family homes where demand can be high. They are fairly silent in their operation (doing away with noisy pumps) and provide a superb supply of hot water to all outlets around the home especially to the most important - the showers! The advantages are huge, including: • Do away with shower pumps saving noise and money • High performance showering • Quick filling of baths • Water is balanced pressure (Hot and Cold) • No need for cold water storage tanks in the loft • Fast recovery rates so no more waiting hours for the water to heat up for the next bath! • Due to approx 50mm of insulation in the cylinders, the unused hot water holds temperature for days so reducing the need for it to be ‘re-heated’ when the boiler comes on, which is so common with traditional copper cylinders • Mains fed directly into the cylinder therefore more hygienic ‘clean’ water as opposed to using water from a potentially dirty storage tank in the loft
